The Jacksteits Adopt

Community is everything to us. We feel blessed to have support from such a wide range of people, and we’re looking forward to learning as much from them as we can while we walk through this next stage of life.

Charlie is our 7-year-old rescue dog. He's super smart, will do anything for a treat, and he loves camping and traveling with us.

We love adventuring and seeing new places and we try to take at least one vacation each year. We can't wait to share our love of traveling with our child!

Shane grew up watching the Sharks play and he introduced the Kim to the game when she was 16. We watch as many games as possible and firmly believe they will win the Stanley Cup one day.

We love playing games together! Sometimes things can get a bit competitive, especially when Kim's siblings are in the mix, but we always have a good time.

We love camping and being outdoors, especially in the redwoods. We even have a box we keep perpetually packed with the essentials so we can hop in the car and camp.
