Community is everything to us.
Shane is very involved in the community where we live; he volunteers with several local non-profit organizations, he’s a member of Rotary International, and he mentors new employees in his company. Kim works at a local non-profit that is dedicated to ending hunger and homlessness in their community.
We have a great group of very supportive family and friends. We keep in touch with old friends from high school and college and we’ve even had the opportunity to travel to other countries to visit friends who live around the world.
Some of the people close to our hearts are in the same stage of life we are, some have children who are in elementary, middle school, or high school, and some are even getting ready for retirement. We feel blessed to have support from such a wide range of people, and we’re looking forward to learning as much from them as we can while we walk through this next stage of life.
